The Mattapoisett Police Department would like to extend its appreciation to all who participated in our most recent National Drug Take Back Day. As a result, 59 pounds of unwanted prescription and over the counter medications were diverted from our ground water and disposed of in the safest possible manner. In the future you are welcome to dispose of your medications in the green drug depository box located in the lobby of the police station. This depository is accessible 24/7.
